Merging Projects

Hi,

Having set up a Master Project with 2 sub-projects my company wishes to
merge this into a single, whole, integrated project.

Is there a short easy way to do this please?

Here's how to merge two projects into one:

1. Open a new blank project.
2. Click Project - Project Information.
3. Set the Start date to the earliest Start date of either of the two
subprojects and then click the OK button.
4. Click Insert - Project.
5. In the Insert Project dialog, select the first subproject.
6. DESELECT the "Link to project" option and then click the Insert button.
7. When prompted to save the first subproject, click the No button.
8. Select the next blank line in the project and repeat steps #4-7 for the
second subproject as well.
9. Expand each of the two subprojects, which have now been merged into a
single project.

At this point, you will probably need to delete the ghost tasks representing
any cross-project dependencies you set previously using the master project,
and then directly link those tasks in the new unified project. Hope this
helps.
