Hi all:

I have a problem while merging two excel spread sheet.
When I merge the second .xls file with the first .xls
file,
my second .xls's file's sheet rows width are getting
affected.
It's not retaining its original layout like row heights
etc.

I would like to keep the same format of the second .xls
file after merging the with the first .xls file.

If anybody can keep me, it'll be appreciated.

Here i want to keep the same row height of the second
file after merging with the first one. not column width

Can you explain it again?

You have two worksheets (First and Second, say).

Is this correct?

You want to merge Second at the bottom of First.

Do you select the complete rows in Second or do you select a range like A1:F999?

Do you paste at the next available cell at the bottom of the data in First?

And the newly pasted rows/range at the bottom of First now have different
rowheight (and you wanted to keep them the same as before)?

And what version of excel are you using?

I was going to try to duplicate your experience, but I wasn't exactly sure what
you did.
