merging two databases

Hi,
I am using Word XP PRO. I created a mail merge at work
and I need to merge it with another one that was created
by someone else (on another computer). Any help is
GREATLY appreciated.

Clarifications please:
- what is your existing data source (is it an "Office Address List" that
you created within Word)?
- what is the data source you want to use?
- when you say "merge it with another", do you mean that you just want to
change the data source, or are you for example doing a directory merge and
you want to create the directory from all the data in both data sources
combined (and perhaps sorted)?

Yes, I am using the office address list in word and the
other one that I want to combine with was also created
the same way. What I am looking to do is take one list
with 398 names and merge the new one to it with over 100
names (I originally didn't know the other list existed
which is why I didn't just add on to it).
Thanks for your help.

These Office Address Lists are Jet (MS Access) databases - it may be
possible to copy/paste the data from one to the other /if you have MS
Access/. If you don't, a small piece of Word VBA might do the trick, but let
us know...
