Merging two spreadsheet

Hi all:

I have a problem while merging two excel spread sheet.
When I merge the second .xls file with the first .xls
file,
my second .xls's file's sheet rows width are getting
affected.
It's not retaining its original layout like row heights
etc.

I would like to keep the same format of the second .xls
file after merging the with the first .xls file.

If anybody can keep me, it'll be appreciated.

If you are talking about cell width's, you can't have different widths
in the same column on the same sheet.

The one thing that will work (not that there aren't more-there always
is!) is that if you protect the sheet that you are copying from and then
select the entire rows <copy>.
When you paste them to the target sheet (you must select column A) the
row heights will be preserved (and not protected).
