merging with macro

When using a macro to merge (open file, open datasource,
select record and merge to new file) I get an error. I
don't get this error when merging 'manually'. I'm using
mergefields and Fillin fields. Can anyone help ?

Can you post the code of the OpenDataSource statement that you are using
here please? (Just put it in a message, don't use an attachment). Also any
supporting info. on what file names you are using etc.

Which version of Word?
