merging Word documents moved the right margin, and I can't adjust

When I merged two versions of a Word documents, the right margin moved in, to
the left of where it had been. That made the right margin much bigger than
the left margin. Unfortunately, I can't adjust it in Page Setup, or by moving
the margin mark on the ruler bar. Yet, in page setup, it indicates that both
of the margins are the same size. Even though they're not. So I am lost.

Have you got Track Changes enabled with 'Balloons' displaying?If not already
open, open the Reviewing Toolbar and select Final, rather than Final Showing
Markup. Alternatively, if you don't need Track Changed, select AcceptALl and
then toggle off Track Changed.
