Message: "a program is trying to access e-mail addresses......"

I am hoping that someone can help me. I am using Outlook 2002. I have only
experienced this problem recently. Every time I try to reply to an email or
select new email, a microsoft outlook pop up appears....."A program is trying
to access addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"
etc. I have checked and rechecked for viruses. I have run 3 different spyware
programs. Nothing else is behaving abnormally on my pc. The problem seems to
have started since I downloaded Microsoft Critical Updates.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this, please.

Thank you for you expert advice. After killing Ella, I downloaded Advanced
Security for Outlook. The program causing the problem was as you suggested
Acrobat but I couldn't find the files that you suggested should be altered.

Advanced Security for Outlook identified the problem and gave me the option
of allowing this program to operate.

Ella in this case is unforunately NOT a beautiful woman but a spam blocking program. I removed the program Ella for Spam.

Hi - I use Outlook 2000, but yesterday downloaded SP2 (and later SP3 but that
made no difference). That caused this same message to come up and I can' t
get rid of it. Your answer related to Outlook 2002 not 200, but is the
solution the same as the one you have given. If it is Acrobat, is there an
easy way to sort the problem?

Take the link Diane provided. About 1/2 thru the problems section it talks
about how to disable the PDFMaker addin by editing the Windows registry.
Note, editing the registry is only needed for Acrobat 6.0. For Acrobat 7.0,
go thru add/remove programs and remove the Outlook addin component.
