in outlook message popped up said that i have new email
and ask if i want to read it. I click YES, and it
said "item has been move or deleted"

i couldn't find the message anywhere; not in deleted item,
not in inbox, not in any other folders

your help would be greatly appreciated.

I would look to see if you have set up any rules
that would move mail to another location in your
Rules Wizard.

Also look to see if your VIRUS Checker is perhaps
turned up too high if you use one. (Maybe it caught
something that hit your inbox and cleaned it out.)
