Message class of public folder

I created a public folder and its message class was set to Post/Message. I want to change this folder's message class to Contacts, but can't seem to figure out how to do this. I plan to create a custom Contacts form to be used as the default form for this folder.
Any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK, you cannot change the default type of an existing public folder. You'll need to create a new folder.

Whoops - that'll teach me to read the question more carefully. I thought he
was asking how to change the message class of some individual items in a
public folder.

AFAIK, you cannot change the default type of an existing public folder.
You'll need to create a new folder.
