message delete automatically on program exit

Hello - Is there a way to have the deleted folder "delete" all messages in the folder automatically when you close down the program?

Sure, create a schedule.

Under Tools > Schedule create a schedule that
for the When part has On Quit and
for the Action part has Delete Mail from Deleted Items older than 0 days
(or whatever period you want).
Make sure the schedule is enabled.

These instructions work on E 2004, but I believe that they will work the
same way in E 2008.
