Hi.
I am using Outlook 2003 Pro running on Windows 2003 Server Terminal Services
as e-mail client and Exchange Server 2000 running on Windows Server 2000 as
the server.
I need to send and receive e-mail communications in several languages, some
of them non-occidental (particularly Simplified and Traditional Chinese).
When I receive a message, I am able to modify it's encoding by selecting
"View", then "Encoding" and the appropiate encoding from the list.
However, when i want to send a new e-mail message, I don't have the
"Encoding" item under the "View" menu. In fact, under the "Format" menu, I am
able to modify the format of the message by choosing among "Plain-Text" and
"HTML" (the latter is the default). Under this same menu, I have another item
named "Encoding" but for which I have only one option set to: "Auto-Select".
I have all the languages I use enebled at the "Ms Office 2003 Language
Settings".
So, my question is: can I explicitly set up the encoding for a new message??
And another one: On addition to enabling the languages for Office
applications, do I need to install any multi-lingual support in order to
handle diferent character sets from a program like Outlook??
Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
