message headers not printing

For some reason when printing html emails that I have received, the header
bit that contains who from, subject, time etc does not print. I am running
Outlook 2003.

You didn't mention what version of Internet Explorer or Microsoft Windows
you are using. The reason this is helpful is that this happened under the
original release of IE7 on Windows XP with Outlook 2003. Out of curiosity,
is your computer fully updated with all security related patches from
Microsoft?
