Message in Outbox

I have a message in my outbox that will not go away. I have not been able to
delete it because when I try to it does nothing, but when I try to open the
message I get the following error message: "Outlook has already begun
transmitting this message."

Let me know if you have any question or need to know more information.

Any ideas or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

try this:
Disable Send/Receive
Close and reopen Outlook
delete the message
Reenable Send/Receive
