Message not delivered 'over quota' what does that mean?

I am unable to send photos to one recipient (repetedly) all others receive
with no problem. The return message says 'unable to deliver...over quota.
What does that mean?

That means that the mailbox of the recipient is too full so it cannot
deliver your message. Usually it is possible to send a small Plain Text mail
without attachments to inform the recipient that the mailbox is full and
that you are trying to send something. Otherwise use different means like
IM, another e-mail address or calling to inform the recipient.
