Message size is too large...

Jen

I attached several files to one email. Although I should have realized that
the files were too large to send, I didn't and hit send. Now the email is
"stuck" in my outbox. When I view the outbox, the "to" line is in italics
under the heading: Subject: (none)(1 item, 1 unread). I have tried to delete
the email but nothing happens, not even an error message. I have tried to
open the email but I get an error message that says that "outlook has already
begun transmitting the message." I have tried closing outlook as well as
rebooting the computer and nothing helps. Additionally, this email is
clogging up my outbox and I can not send any other emails from Hotmail (via
outlook) although I can send from my Comcast account via outlook...

Help?

As posted here quite a lot (you did search?)

Click File and check Work Offline. Close and then restart Outlook.
Delete the message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.

If that doesn't work, try this:
