Message stuck in outlook outbox

I am using outlook 2003. I made a mistake and tried to send an email with a
34 mb attachement. That was three days ago and I can't seem to delete it
from my outbox because it claims it is in the process of sending it. How can
I delete this email>

i have been going through this myself the last few days. have you tried
working offline? that's what i did. i went to file and selected work offline.
then i had to wait a few minutes before i could click on outlook outbox and
wait another minute or so before i could delete the message. my outlook is
now working. hope that helps you some.
