On the Office Online page there are three columns made up as follows:
The left hand column has the discussion groups sub divided into the
applications associated with that group.
The middle column shows the subject line and the associated posts.
The right hand column displays the messages.
I would like to be able to view my messages in this format if possible.

You're looking as a web page that uses frames in a browser. Outlook isn't a
web browser. Your control over how Outlook organizes its panes is limited.
