messages are arriving in plain text tick box unchecked?

Following the last upgrade to Outlook 2003 my messages are now appearing in
plain text even though the appropriate tick box is unchecked. I can of course
convert them to HTML or Rich Text via clicking on the header bar - but this
is only a workaround.

Apart from a reload any clues?

Ok now sorted - the mails were in my Junkmail folder and I have now seen a
reply from B Tillman on another post that explained this - see Brians
previous reply below.

If the messages are in the Junk E-mail folder, there's no way to disable
that. If they're in the Inbox, then click Tools>Options>Email Options and
uncheck the box labeled "Read all standard mail in plain text".
