I use Outlook 2003. When I open a folder with new messages, the one upon
which the cursor rests deletes automatically (not actually disappeared from
the screen but has a line through it, ready to be purged). This also happens
whenever I click or double-click on a message to open it. I have three
accounts feeding into Outlook and two of the three have this same behavior,
and I don't remember changing any settings since before this started
happening.
I have scoured all the menus and options and didn't see any setting that
would affect this. If someone has a scoop on this problem, I'd appreciate it.
An additional strange occurence (scared yet?) is that when I used to send
messages from these two accounts, the sent messages would go to the Sent
Items folder; but now that I've changed the third account (that has good
behavior) to IMAP from POP, it's the only account whose messages are also
well-behaved and go into the Sent Items folder. Suggestions?
