Messages Being Deleted on Reply & Forward

RE: Outlook 2000. Ihave a client that is complaining that when she replies
or forwards an email message, the original message is deleted.

I have combed the KB and do not find an article for this. I would image
there would be a setting for deleing original messages but I am not failure
with this version of Outlook and would appreciate some help.

It's not being deleted. The client has the "Unread Messages" view selected,
which hides all read messages. Since replying to or forwarding a message
marks the original as read, the message gets hidden by the view. Tell the
client to choose the "Messages" view.

It's View>Current View>Messages.

I had her try it but the "Messages" view was already enabled. Any other

Do the messages actually get moved to the Deleted Items folder? Are there
any rules? Are there any Add-Ins?

Hi Brian,

I actually went out there and could not duplicate the problem. I suspect
the procedure you mention above worked but she did not verify that or what.
In any case thanks.
