Messages & Contacts have disappeared....help me!!

Hello all...
I switched my computer to discover that I have lost everything, & it's been
reverted back to the factory settings. I think I have a virus - I've asked a
question in another newgroup...this one relates to out lookI opened Outlook
2007 & it's asking me to set it up again...the email addresses, etc...in my
inbox there's nothing, and all my files have gone, so have my contacts...i
had 1000's of emails & 100's of contacts, where are they? can i get them
back? please help!!!!

If you do in fact have a virus, get this cleaned up first! Once you are
100% clean, just reconnect Outlook to your PST file, and you should be
fine. (Of course if your virus deleted the PST file, then the only way
is to recover from a backup.)
