Messages Deleted Automatically from OL '03

Small Office, each user is running a business e-mail account (Pop3) and
connecting into the account from Outlook '03. On one of the users, mail
messages are being deleted sometimes automatically and sometimes after being
viewed. We checked the Junk E-mail folder and no messages are being stored
there - the messages are simply gone... ?

Settings are below, but we are really confused as to why this would be
happening. If anyone has any ideas, that would be greatly appreciated!

Settings:
Junk E-mail set to No Automatic Filtering
No Rules Created

Are they filtering their view to show only unread mail? Do they have mail set
to be read as marked when they preview for 5 seconds (or so)?
