Messages disappear after being viewed in preview pane

I have one person who emails me, and I have a problem. When she responds to
one of my emails, and I am working in another program, her messages appears
in the small preview pane that pops up in the bottom right of my screen. I
briefly can see what the message says. However when I go to the INbox to
read the entire message...there is nothing there except my message to her,
that she was trying to respond to....does she have a setting on or something,
or is it my Outlook? Any ideas?

I have no rules or filters on to my knowledge. I have called Dell, and
Microsoft, and no one could help me. Any other ideas? Could it be the
senders rules?

No. Senders rules won't work on your side.
Try searching for a known email from that sender and see if you can find out
where it is ending up.

It's just happening with this one person? I'd also make sure you're not
sorting your Inbox view on the Icon field, which makes it really hard to find
recent messages. Double-check your view on the Inbox and make sure it's set
to Messages, or you can try By Category -- neither of these table views are
filtered by default.

Thanks. I tried all that. Also tried to search for the file to see where it
went...no luck. It is no where! I did have another person tell me as well,
that when they tried to reply to my email their cursor would just hover over
my mail, and would not let them reply!! They had to write another origianl
message. Does that shed any more light on this? Other than that I have had no
others do it. I can tell, becuase when my sister's replies come in, it is
only another copy of my origianl email, and no reply. So I know its another
case of the "missing response"!! Any other suggestions? Thanks so much.
