Messages disappearing on the desktop after Activesynch with mobile

We have Motorola Q, Samsung Blackjacks, and Palm Treo's and appointments
start disappearing after activesynch is used. No problems with Good (as far
as we are aware), but one client using BlackBerry is now experiencing similar.

Tried recreating accounts, fixes for a day, tried all current patches, no
solution.

Anyone got a solution?

Some explanation for why this is happening for the Blackberries and how to
address it has been posted multiple times and discussed in these newsgroups
and in the Blackberry forums (see, for example,
http://www.blackberryforums.com/bes-admin-corner/25038-appointments-randomly-missing.html
and
http://forums.crackberry.com/f79/missing-calendar-entries-after-sync-33453/).
There is some indication lately that the problem is occurring with WIndows
Mobile 6 devices also and perhaps it's the same thing, but I've never seen
ActiveSync improperly delete events. Perhaps the people in
microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync might have an idea. In any event,
Outlook is passive in the sync process. The sync software itself controls
it all.

Brian,

Activesynch is not deleting the appointments, as they are in the mobile
device, but no longer displayed in the desktop, almost as if the mobile has
set a switch to stop exchange from synching with anything else, including
Outlook.

I meant deleting in Outlook, not on the moble device.

So, are you synching with Outlook or with Exchange?
