When I open Outlook and the Send/Receive Process runs the messages that are
displayed in the Inbox flash, cycling from the top to the bottom of the
screen then back at the top of the screen again. But only within the message
view area, not the Navigation bar or the Menu Toolbars. They will continue
to flash and cycle through for sometimes several minutes and sometimes just a
brief moment or two.
My PST file is pretty large, BUT I have the same PST folder on the previous
laptop and it is running fine and it has less features (RAM, HDD, CPU, etc.).
I transferred the file from one Notebook to the other, because the LCD on
the original went out and is hooked up via VGA to a LCD monitor, but is no
longer portable, unlike the new notebook.
So what could be causing this?
My new system is configured as follows:
Duo Core 2 2.0 GHz
3.0 GB of RAM
160 GB HDD
256 MB GeForce 8400M GS
