Messages go directly in the trash

Recently, my entourage has taken it upon itself to direct emails
coming from addresses that are in my address book and sending them
directly into the trash. I cannot seem to fix this problem. Does
anyone have any suggestions as to how to repair this issue.

Go to Tools>Mailing List Manager and see if you have not inadvertently
created a mailing list rule that automatically moves your incoming mail.
Creating such a rule is quite easily done by marking a "junk" message as
"not junk" and then selecting the wrong option in the window that shows up
immediately afterwards. If there are any MLM rules, disable or delete them
and see if that solves your problem.
