Messages in Inbox do not show up until clicking on another folder

Outlook 2007, fully patched, messages dont show in Inbox until i click on
another folder (contacts, calendar). When i click back - they are all there.
Have:
- uninstalled Outlook, reinstalled
- deleted Outlook Profile and all files in C:\Douments and
settings\application data\outlook & local settings\application data\outlook

- It is not a viewing issue and no filters are turned on.
Any ideas???
I see others on the web with same issue but no answers but swiping windows!
