Messages permanently deleted

Louis

When I delete messages form my inbox and I have read them
they permanently deleted. I know this because they do
not show up in the "Deleted" Folder.

When I delete a message that has NOT been read it goes to
the "Deleted" folder.

I am puzzled!

Thanks Louis

Louis,

Here's a possible solution.

Please perform the following steps again to
troubleshooting the issue:

Note: Disable any anti-virus programs and any third party
programs when you perform the following steps:

Step 1 Start Outlook with Different Switches

============================

First, please start Outlook with different switches to
see if it helps:

1. Quit Outlook. Click Start--Run,
type "Outlook /CleanViews" and press Enter.

(Quotation marks are not included and there is a space
between Outlook and /)

2. Quit Outlook. Click Start--Run,
type "Outlook /ResetFolders" and press Enter.

(Quotation marks are not included and there is a space
between Outlook and /)

Note: General Outlook.exe is located on "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10". Also you can search
Outlook.exe if you cannot perform the above steps. You
can go directly Outlook.exe located folder to run the
above switches.
