Messages sent are not being saved in my Sent Items folder

Messages sent are not being saved in my Sent Items folder for Outlook 2000.
I've checked the box under Tools, Options, E-mail Options. I can't figure
what else I can do to make my messages get saved in my Sent Items folder.
