Good day,
I have a user that works offline (on the plane) and creates emails to
clients and presses the send button when done. Naturally, they go to Outbox
and wait to be synchronized.
Now, when he connects through VPN, either at home or elsewhere, the emails
go to Sent Items without being delivered. All other emails sent after he is
connected go through without a problem and he can receives emails as well.
What I did so far is:
- Tracked all his sent emails on the Exchange server and none of them show
up.
- Created a new .OST file, failed. He got the same error on his second trip.
- Restarted the Information Store, failed as well.
Now, I am trying to find what is causing the emails to go to the Sent Items,
when they really are not leaving Outlook, and I'm not sure where to look. We
checked the event viewer and nothing relevant shows up during the time frame
of the problem.
Is there anything I need to look for in particular? Do you have any ideas
of what can be happening?
Thanks in advance for the help!
