Greetings,
The problem is – message with attachments get choked leaving my outbox
Using:
Windows XP Media Center
Outlook 2003, SP3
ISP was recently Hughesnet – which I recently dumped for being too slow, too
slow, and too poorly supported. However slow it was, I did not have the
current problem with my Outbox.
Have just switched to Clearwire – much better!
For email ID – using gmail & Outlook 2003
Also have Clearwire ID (and Outlook 2003)
Problems persists when using either
POP3 stuff configured correctly
Can send messages without attachments - no problem
Using Norton – for ‘outgoing email scanning’ is enabled. I did disable it –
but it made no difference (currently enabled again)
When sending msgs w/ attachments – I do not get any sort of error
If stuff doesn’t get sent – it backs up everything else in queue
Called Clearwire tech support and only relief was to boot in ‘Safe Mode’ and
use Outlook Express – which seem to point things at Outlook 2003
Am I making sense?
Anything you can offer to help me would be much appreciated.
I share a fair number of photos and the faster upload capability was a prime
factor in switching ISPs
