Messaging interface returns unknown error

Ironically I am sending this post a second time because the first try was
killed by the Subject matter itself. I have tried the Brian Tillman cure but
it is not a real fix.
I frequently have to copy and paste a message into a new message and delete
the original in order to send a simple e-mail. I am frustrated.
If the systen knows there is an error then it seems logical it would know
where the error lies but it leaves the mystery to the user like me who does
not have a clue and ends up wasting hours of frustration trying to get a
lasting cure. Does anyone really understand why this happens and how to fix
it permanently ?
