Messaging Interface Unknown Error

I can't send e-mails with Digital ID or Encryption certificates. If I remove
the certs I have no problem. I am using Outlook 2003. The message I get is
that there is a messaging interface unknown error and to restart Outlook. I
have restarted Outlook as well as my computer with no success. I have also
unistatlled and reinstatlled the certificate with no change in the result. I
checked and I am up to date with all service pakcs and MS installs. Any
toughts?
