Meta data removal?

Anyone have any software out there that effectively removes metadata
from mac office applications? i.e., when using mac word, there's data
that saved under the "Properties" including date created, modified,
editing time, printed, etc.

i know that saving it as a new document will remove the meta-data, but
the metadata only returns are something else!

Thanks in advance

Hi Art:

The tool you are seeking is built-in to Mac Word 2004. Look under
Preferences>Security and enable "Remove personally identifiable information
from the file on save".

To go further than that, save the file as "Web Page", then set 'confirm
conversions on open' and re-open the file as Text.

You can then read, and remove, any meta-data you wish. Be sure to save it
back as 'Text' when you have finished.

Hope this helps
