meta info

I notice in the source code for many FP templates there is Meta information.
One of the meta name is "Microsoft Theme" content = "Name of the template"

I would like to remove this line from the source code so that my clients do
not know I have used a template to create a site. Or at least change the
name of the theme/template listed under the meta name to one that is more
akin to the clients business.
However, I find that if I remove or change the line, then the website loses
all its theme colurs, buttons, navigation bars etc.

Is there a way around this?

The meta name must be there for the elements to work.

Or in your FP Web modify the theme to customize it for your client
Format Theme Modify (in versions prior to FP2003 change something in the theme) and then Save As a new theme name (reflecting your
client name - keep it <~ 8 char)
