I have just migrated from a G4 iMac to a G5, using Apple's Setup Assistant
to transfer all files and appplications. Everything seemed to work well
EXCEPT
I have an Excel file with Metafiles in it (originated in Windows Excel).
On the original G4, when I open this, I see a number of "Converting
Metafile" messages, and then all content is visible.
On the new computer, opening the SAME file, with the SAME version of Excel,
with the SAME filters in place (all transferred to the new computer by Apple
Setup Assistant, using target disk mode), NO "Converting Metafile" message
appears, and ALL the graphics appear as place-holders only.
Any clues how to open this file properly on the new computer?
