Method "Columns" of object "IIMEX GRID" failed

Desperate in Dallas

I am importing data from excel to Access (file>get external data>import) and
get the error message Method "Columns" of object "IIMEX GRID" failed. Note
that after I get the message the wizard shows all the columns correctly.
Then when I click "finish", it fails.

PLEASE HELP ME
