Method 'Columns' of object 'IImexGrid' failed

Hi

I am using Access 2000 and am trying to create a link
table. When I select the worksheet to link to I get the
message "Method 'Columns' of object 'IImexGrid' failed".

Could someone let me know what this means and what I have
done wrong. I have created link tables before without any
problems.

I solved my own problem.

Basically I had empty columns in the excel worksheet I was
trying to use. Although the cells were empty they had
formatting in them as a time. Access kept picking up on
these cells as though they had data in them.

Problem solved.
