I am using OS10.3.9 and recently ugraded to Word 2004. I just noticed
that all of the French accented letters are missing from the insert
symbol boxes. In other words, if I click on Insert->Symbol, and choose
'symbol' in the drop down window next to the word 'font', the fourth
and fifth rows of boxes, where I believe the french accented letters
used to be in previous Word versions, are mostly empty. Specifically,
the 4th row of boxes begins to be empty at the 13th square and the 5th
row is empty until the 17th square.
If I am just being crazy and the French accented letters are somewhere
else, can you please tell me where to find them. Otherwise, please
help.
Thank you,
Karen
