Hello,
I believe I have definitley uncovered a but in Powerpoiint 2004.
I use a special -.OTF font (Futura Standard Medium) from Adobe to make
grpahs. This worked fine in Powerpoint X. The slides I created even
look correct, if I view them in Powerpoint 2004, (with or without
Service Pack 1). But, if I edit the text, it will no longer look
correct. The last part of the text will be missing on the slide.
However, the text is still there if I double click to edit the graph
again.
If I save this file in Powerpoint 2004 and then reopen it in
Powerpoint 2003, the graph still looks wrong. But as soon as I edit
it in Powerpoint 2003, it will look right.
To me it appears that the rendering of the graph works incorrectly in
Powerpoint 2004 for -.otf fonts. For ttf. fonts it works okay.
Any ideas... Or just wait for fix???!
Cheers JP

ps.- I wrote another thread about this a long time ago...
