Hi K.C.

MS Office 2003 Document Imaging .MDI files can only
be viewed in MS Office 2003 Document Imaging.
You can copy and paste graphics or run them through
Character Recognition in Document Imaging and then
use Send text to Word.

The Document Imaging app produces graphics files.
Word cannot open graphic files directly, but some
formats are supported via clipboard or
Insert=>Picture=>From File
unfortunately MS didn't make Office .MDI files
one of the supported graphic formats as it can
have multiple pages and the supported graphics
that can be inserted only show a single image.

I am trying to scan word text and put in into my Word program so I can make
changes to it. When I scan with OCR it scan it OK but when it goes into Word
and I bring up the file it's in DOS or something? And cannot be read.
