Is this happening every time you start Word or when you open a document? I
presume you mean macros because micros are exceedingly short skirts very
popular in the 60s.
Check what templates are lurking in the Word Startup folder (see Tools,
Options, File Locations for the whereabouts of the Word Startup folder). If
there are any associated with Microsoft Fax, rename them changing the .dot
to .bad and test again.
