I don't have the right answer for you, but...
If you can save it as a *.doc, you could then send it and
it will be opened by word when they receive it.
Your formatting may not convert over, though, so keep that
in mind.
If you want to make sure it gets to the destination in the
right format, I recommend saving your resume as a *.txt.
save it to floppy or zip disk, go to Kinkos and use the
MS Word program there to open the *.txt document that you
saved to the floppy and finish your formatting there.
save it to the floppy when complete.
This way you have your resume in word format ready to be
distributed to the masses. Make multiple copies on your
home system of your new word doc. Floppy disk have a
habit of failing.
