Microsoft 2007 Issues-- Help??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi All,
I am having issues using my Microsoft 2007. First I bought the microsoft
2007 professional edition online. Put it on my computer but there was a lot
of problems. I took it off and decided to try to download the free trial
version online to see if that would work but same problem. I had no issues
with the download, it went through successfully. The issue I am having is
whenever I try to open a word, excel or powerpoint document a window will pop
up saying configuration process--configuring microsoft 2007 trial...but then
when it completes it will say windows installer preparing to install...from
there it will either freeze up my computer or it will complete and say I need
to reboot and when I do that and try to open a document again...it does the
same exact thing all over again.. the only way any of the documents will
really open is if I keep clicking cancel on the configuration and windows
installer screens...can anyone help with this issue?? Thanks a lot!!

There's nothing different between an Office 2007 trial and the purchased
Office 2007 as long as they're the same edition (e.g. Professional edition),
except the trial will stop working in 60 days. You can convert the trial to
the purchased Office 2007 by going into Add/Remove Programs, select
Microsoft Office <edition> 2007,click on the Change button then choose the
Convert trial option and enter the product key that came with the purchased
Office 2007. The only change that will occur there is the license info and
you can use past 60 days. Then you'll need to activate Office if you didn't
already.
