I have WinXP professional, and Office small business
edition. I purchased Access 2003 upgrade and it will not
install. It says that it cannot find an edition of Office
in order to upgrade.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like you purchased an Access Upgrade which requires that you already
have a previous version of Access. Read the box and you should see that the
item you purchased requires that a licensed copy of Access 97, 200, etc. be
installed on the computer.

Thanks for the reply, but that isnt the case. The box
states that it will install if you have one of the
following: winXp, professional, Office Small business,
etc. It lists several other from Access 97 up to MS
Works, works suites etc. Thats why it makes no sense to
me.
Thanks anyhow

If you have Office xp already installed, you should not have any problem
installing the upgrade for Access 2003. Office Small business in any version
qualifies for the upgrade. If you have not yet installed office XP, it
should ask you were the qualifying product can be found and will ask you for
the path. You then put the cd for xp in the cd drive and point the to the cd
rom drive.
