Microsoft Access can't find the wizard

R

Rockyboa

Most of my wizard don't work anymore. After reinstalling Access completly
and reading in many forums, I'm out of idea.

Here is an example. Tools - Adds-in - Add-in Manager I get :

Microsoft Access can't find the wizard, or the wizard has not been installed
or there is a syntax error in declarations section of the VB module.

....

This is happening even with a empty database. Many module such has import,
Analyze, security have the same trouble..

Any idea?

Hi Martin,

The first thing I'd try is re-registering the file ACCWIZ.DLL.

To re-register a DLL file,

1) Locate it (usually in the Windows\System32 or WINNT\System32 folder).

2) Locate the file regsvr32.exe.

3) Drag the DLL file's icon onto the regsvr32.exe icon.
