I appear to have a problem with saving Access templates
downloaded from Microsoft. When I download the template
it opens as an Access database and then does not allow me
to save it on my hard drive. Perhaps it's in a temp file
somewhere under som mysterious number but I don't know. I
found a work arround by using Netscape instead of IE6
which did allow me to save the template in the location
of my choice, but really prefer to stick within the
confines of the Microsoft family of products. I found
that the files are a .cab file that opens as a zip file.
I also found that Access 2000 was opening the download,
and when I tried to save it as a replica, it needed the
premium sr1 disk. Frustrations started building - so if
someone has found a better work around or quicker
solution, please advise. I suspect that the problem may
be in IE6 or Windows XP Pro but I don't know. Advise
would be appreciated. George
