Microsoft Access

I have Microsoft Works Suite installed on my Dell inspiron
3800 laptop. The software was installed on the computer
when i bought it from Dell. I want to install Microsoft
Access on my computer. My question is as follows: Do I
have to install the Access Stand Alone Program, or can I
purchase the Access upgrade product because I already have
the Microsoft Works Suite Installed on my system.? Thanks
