Microsoft ADP file open problem

When I try to open an existing ADP file i get the
following message "the file is not in the correct format
for a microsft access project" I have verified the file
exists but to no avail.

Are you trying to open it with a version of MS Access that is older than the
version used to create the *.adp file? Say, if the *.adp is created with
Access 2003, while you only have Access 2000 on the computer where you try
to open it.

The error is happemning on the same machine where the file
was working just day's ago. T can't think of anything
that has changed. I am using Access 2003.

The file could be corrupted. Try importing everything into a new, empty ADP.
