Microsoft Auto Update

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I can never update. Microsoft Auto Update comes up every now and then. tells me that I need to install the updates and when I click on Install, a window comes up which says: The connection to the update server was interrupted. I click on reconnect and... same story. Even if I go directly to the Mactopia website, the same!! What can I do?
